Adam uses a photojournalistic style while also suggesting creative ideas to enhance the posed photographs when the opportunity exists. Adam also participates in stock photography communities to sell photographs for advertisements and media.
Adam gained an interest in photography at a young age from watching his great grandfather's hobby. High school photography and graphic design courses helped develop Adam’s photography skills further. Adam pursued film photography as a hobby shooting nature, vacations, and friends' weddings while attending Clark College and Portland State University. Studying engineering increased Adam's understanding of the technical concepts behind photography.
Adam met Jamie and the couple opened Smile Like U Mean It. The couple was married on August 15, 2008. In addition to photographing weddings, Adam works for the Federal Highway Administration as the Wyoming Highway Safety Engineer. Adam and Jamie recently moved from the Portland area to Cheyenne, WY with their new daughter who was born in January 2010.
